Great Mac based puzzle, make your own puzzles the best!

If you love jigsaw puzzles as I do, you MUST have Jigsaws Galore. The selection of puzzle sets is extensive and each puzzle can be modified from very easy to extremely difficult depending on the users experience and expertise. Each "set" contains fifty (50) puzzles and devery set is unique. All puzzles are cross-platform, if you are a PC user. I have used several jugsaw puzzle applications on my Macs and can say without any reservations that Jigsaws Galore is the best application available. If you like enjoy jigsaws, you will not be disappointed.

This is my guilty pleasure … I’ve tried several of the other jigsaw apps, this is definitely my favorite. I’ve finished all the free puzzles and have bought more. They are gorgeous and worth the price! The first set I bought was very low resolution and looked terrible on my 5k iMac. I contacted David Gray to complain and found that they have been increasing the resolution as they have created newer sets. He sent me a new set free, and it is beautiful. I’ve also created new puzzles myself from my own photographs, but I actually prefer theirs.

I’ve always done puzzles since I was a young kid … it soothes the brain … puzzles on a large screen with high detail makes this a nice diversion from work for a few minutes.

Mac_User: Reset does work very well on my Mac. I do it all the time, because I have real favorite beach and water scenes. Definitely works on a Mac. No Problem. I have not tried to make my own puzzles yet, but maybe this year, I’ll get to it. The developer, David Gray, is wonderful. He responds to emails about his app almost immediately, and has bailed me out of losig puzzles in a not-so-well-planned OS upgrade. I should have backed up my puzzle installers, but I forgot. I have a whole bunch of these puzzles, and I just love them. Beautiful, fun, and very easily tailored to different puzzle shapes, sizes, backgrounds, etc. It’s the best! I wish all apps were as well thought out and supported as this one is! It’s so easy and fun to go all over the world without leaving my house!

I really like this puzzle app---it is the best on the market-----the only thing I do not like----after you have completed all the puzzles----you must buy from the maker -----I would much rather buy new puzzle apps from the maker on the app store than going to their site----otherwise, the puzzles are great— ——second review—— jigsaws galore has really updated their app——my favorite part is that I now can use my own photo’s as a puzzle——my grandkids love it because they can use the easy larger pieces——great app for the all family members

I love this app! There are many photo themes from which to choose. Once you’ve purchased a set, you can also use your own photos to create puzzles.

We use to put jugsaw puzzles together as a family. This is as close to the real thing without all the hassel of sorting and getting them organized to put together. I spend hours playing with the puzzles. I would recommend them to everyone.

I’m addicted to this app! There’s a great variety of pictures in each version, and they run the gamet from very easy to very challenging. You can adapt the puzzles to fit your preferences. LOVE IT!

As another reviewer commented, we did puzzles as a family growing up. It is a cherished memory. My challenge each Christmas was to find the most difficult puzzle I could to give to my Aunt, the instigator of our puzzles. I have been doing these puzzles for quite some time now, and I love them. A great app if you like doing puzzles.

I played the free version but quicky ran out of free puzzles (cant stop). So I upgraded to this version so I could make puzzles from any picture I wanted to. Whether its something you download off the web or already have in your pictures folder the creativity is wide open and left to just anything you want. Im a guy so internet pics from Sports Illustrated, Victorias Secret, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, pictures of friends and family and places weve been, and I could go on and on. You can manipulate the puzzle from very simple (for small children) to very complicated for puzzle enthusiasts. Lots of help and a very responsive author. I had a problem and he responded by email hours later. Theres more freebies on his webpage and more helpful information. I cant find anything wrong with it so its 5 stars from me! Im sure youll have way more fun than 3 bucks will normally provide! If you like puzzle grab this one - you wont be disappointed.

You can spend hours with this game, keeps you occupied for a great deal of time.

This is a great app. I am so addicted to it and the grandkids love it too. It can be easily adapted to any age group. The people who provide this great puzzle game are very helpful as well. I don’t know how I would survive without it. And you can NEVER lose a piece!

I love the flexibility of the game! The ability to change the number of pieces and the shape of the pieces keeps everything new and interesting.

Really fun to play, and very configurable. It’s great entertainment and very affordable.

I quickly finished all the puzzles in the free app. so I upgraded to this version where I could create my own jigsaws using images from the web, art work from friends and any photos I found. Todate I have spent hours creating and completing 744 new puzzles.

Worth far more than $2.99 and is actually good mental exercise for the mind; perfect for any age, but especially beneficial for Seniors. Make large (fewer overall) pieces for kids. Create your own jigsaws from almost any picture format. I have never had any real issues with this Application, but it would be nice to share created puzzle between purchasers.

Jigsaws Galore is an incredibly well-thought-out and designed app, and the available puzzles represent an impressive array of subjects. You can even create your own puzzles from photos on your computer. This app is a must-have.

This is such a versatile program. It comes with puzzles, and you can buy puzzles or make your own. It is so easy to take a screen shot and make a puzzle. Scan a Christmas card and turn it into a puzzle, or use family photos. The possibilities are endless. I am so glad I have this. It costs from around $12.00 to $20.00 for a jigsaw puzzle--that takes up room, pieces get lost. This app eliminates all of that. You can make your puzzles as hard or easy as you like. Terrific.
